Rabbiters Cottage is a beautiful historic cottage surrounded by wild country gardens with a fantastic pastoral outlook flowing to stunning mountain views.

It is located only 5 minutes walk from the Kimbell Pub and art galleries, and the country town of Fairlie is only 7 minutes drive away – offering a great selection of restaurants, a small supermarket, post office, pharmacy and bank.

Only 2 ½ hours from Christchurch, charming Kimbell is a piece of New Zealand paradise hidden away in the beautiful rural Mackenzie Country. With its strong Scottish history, this area is unique to New Zealand.

Rabbiters Cottage
The cottage is furnished with modern appliances, period-piece furniture and features a beautiful cottage garden of fruit trees and herbs. A great outdoor eating area allows you to sit outside and enjoy a beverage, while taking in beautiful rustic views of Mackenzie Country farmland with horses and sheep grazing.

Bedrooms
We’ve made sure that our beds are comfortable so you can enjoy a great nights sleep. Both bedrooms have luxurious Egyptian cotton linens, special NZ Fairydown quilts and electric blankets. The cottage sleeps up to four people and has 1 x Super King bed (can be set up as two large singles) and 1 x Queen bed.

Kitchen & Living
The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker and electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, easy to operate espresso coffee machine, toasted sandwich maker, grill, toaster and blender.

The cottage has a dining room and two separate living areas, with a LCD 32”TV, CD/DVD Player and Sky TV. The lounge area features sumptous sofas and a wonderful log fire – perfect for warming up your toes on a winters evening after an action packed day on the slopes.

Facilities
There is also a laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use.
The cottage features a small library of handpicked New Zealand books, with special reference to the Mackenzie Country. There is also a wonderful collection of art for you to enjoy.

Tariff :
1 night: $175.00 NZD per night
2+ nights: $150.00 NZD per night
